Char and Bub. Just killer.

Clash of the Titans was a huge inspiration for, mainly in my character design for Bub the clockwork owl. Char is the commander of the Agency of Chronological Enforcement, or ACE. I have no real vision for my characters when I write them. I toss back a few ideas, and then the words manifest into their visual aspects. Char was designed by Lew after I told him she sounds like a mixture of Nick Fury and Storm with a hint of Emma Frost. A strong leader and compassionate, but has a cruel streak she tries to hide. An excellent sharpshooter and quite skilled in close-quarter combat.

This pin-up was colored by Chris Shields. I've been re-writing some of the pages and seriously trying to get this off the ground. Somehow. Ka-Blaam will be at FX this weekend, so I can get some rates on self-publishing.

Time in my hands

I just thought I would share the cover. The script is going along well, I think. Moving to Atlanta has been a great experience thus far.

My room is just the right environment I needed to help find my center and keep up the positive energy I already have.

Color ahoy

I have got the colorist and the first 12 issues planned out. I'm getting business cards made, though I still feel kind of weird. Maybe a little "grown up"? I'm not sure. Things are looking up for the tiny little book that could. I have a few conventions to go to and I'm going to get the PR done for it. Maybe a few prints here and there.

Too bad I can't go to HeroesCon. Downgrade.

My reviews are constant on newsarama. I just wonder how I can do a plug without looking ass-hatish.

DragonCon is just around the corner. Almost done indeed.

Voodoo comics?

I'm leaning towards that name the most. Lew came by yesterday and showed off a bit of the cover for Hourglass. It's going to be splendid, I just know it. So, that's about it for now. I finally posted the Chris Gore interview. I really need to invest in a flashdrive and a voice recorder and not just bootleg my phone haha. I turn 25 in less than a month, and I'm thinking this could be the year that I turn shit around. About time, I think. Well, past time technically.
