My mind is slipping. I forgot to share these.

So for a sort of payment and thanking me for letting him stay at my place, my buddy Chris gave me these. It's Nick Bradshaw doing what he does best. They are a weird shape, but unique and very cool. It's a news strip style, but how it's presented like a personal autograph was a nice touch. Thanks, guys! And Chris, you know you're welcome back anytime, my friend.

I love me some curvy female detectives.

I got the non-colored piece a few weeks ago since I had my friend Karen pick it for me at HeroesCon, THEN Chris hand-colored the original scan and gave it to me for a belated birthday surprise.

I want a frame big enough for the two of them together. I think I'll just add it to the frame inventory. My office is a mess since there's stuff everywhere that needs to be framed. It's a slow process, but will look good once it's completed.

Char and Bub. Just killer.

Clash of the Titans was a huge inspiration for, mainly in my character design for Bub the clockwork owl. Char is the commander of the Agency of Chronological Enforcement, or ACE. I have no real vision for my characters when I write them. I toss back a few ideas, and then the words manifest into their visual aspects. Char was designed by Lew after I told him she sounds like a mixture of Nick Fury and Storm with a hint of Emma Frost. A strong leader and compassionate, but has a cruel streak she tries to hide. An excellent sharpshooter and quite skilled in close-quarter combat.

This pin-up was colored by Chris Shields. I've been re-writing some of the pages and seriously trying to get this off the ground. Somehow. Ka-Blaam will be at FX this weekend, so I can get some rates on self-publishing.
